Way back in the 1970s, MPC made model kits that were based on Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The plastic sets had parts that when connected properly and armed with the included rubber band, moved with the touch of a button. These model kits go for big money these days! Into the modern day comes Round 2 who partners with International Hobbycraft to reproduce these lines with new box art and slightly different model names but sold under “The New Lindberg”. The original Lindberg series was based in the 1970s and made models that included the Jolly Roger Pirate ship. In any case, these new versions have fantastic box art, made in the old style if you will, and some with YES! GLOW-IN-THE-DARK features!!! (Always a favorite of mine!).
