The first official non-happy meal, retail sold McDonald’s action figures and playset were made by Remco in 1976. Each figure has limited posability, but they have this interesting round knob on their backs so you can control their head movement. Figures were sold on blister cards, but there is a playset that when opened is a huge 3’x3′ set! It comes with a working wind-up train and a whole vintage looking McDonald’s playground. I own one of these and they fail to disappoint!! Take a look for yourself and see if this isn’t one of the coolest playsets around.
**NEW**: Bagged Professor figure discovered! Marked 1980. This is the only bagged figure from the line I ever saw; Anyone else have any of these?
