Proud to say that Big Bill was originally first brought to the scene on www.megoknockoff.com on the old Collectible Action Figures Gallery website before and after it was www.megolike.com. Quick backstory: 1997 and I had been collecting for about 6 months. Was perusing eBay (back then many auctions had ZERO pics) and found ” 8″ Action Figure in Plain Box” with a very small description and no pics.. It was won for $8 and when it arrived I was excited!!! Big Bill is a mix of original Mego parts and some knockoff wannabees. The Bazooka fires plastic rockets. The mortar fires plastic shells and the rifle and machine gun each fire TINY bullets. all of these weapons are spring loaded. I do not know how anyone could expect a kid to first of all handle the tiny bullets for the rifle and machine gun and even if they could load them you would have a snowballs chance in hell of ever finding them! Big Bill was a catalog mail order, most likely from Sears Wishbook or more likely Montgomery Wards which was selling Lincoln International monsters (and the victim!). In any case, he is the only one I have ever seen boxed and I don’t know of anyone who has one complete like this MIB or even has one for that matter. Enjoy!
