Sharing the same name as another 12″ GI Joe knockoff from Mortoys (Mort Alexander), this version comes on a bubble card with flocked hair and a kung fu grip. Sporting a number of carded outfits with header cards, this cheaper version of Hasbro’s GI Joe still has an excellent appeal for Joe and non-Joe collectors alike. This figure bears no scar on the face like Hasbro’s Joes, but he looks close enough for any grandmother to buy her grandson a nice present of a “GI Joe”. This same figure was recarded and dressed in several different outfits with different names like “Super Mike” and “Bruce Action”.
