Designs influenced by the Gabriel Lone Ranger series of figures of the time, these 8″ counterparts come on the typical flat handed AHI body, as the apes and some of the monsters are. They are jointed all in plastic like the monsters and apes. The outfits came in a variety of materials such as vinyl and cloth outfits. The cowboy is influenced from Gabriel’s Butch Cavendish as from other toys of the time, including Mego’s Western Heroes series. More pics to come as we add to this series!
