First off, a HUGE THANKS to MIK DRAGO for sending these over! Mik has been a friend and fellow collector for quite some time from the bowels of Germany! If you know the Kenner Steve Scout figure (page coming soon!), then you might also be familiar with Furga’s OK Mike who used not only the Steve Scout body, with kind of a Gabriel Lone Ranger knock off head,but also many of his accessories and playsets, packaged almost identically from Italy. Germany also used the Kenner Scout body but used more of a shrunken down Mego Fighting Yank head, Scout accessories, but used what seems to be the Furga red shirt and pants. The boxes had almost the same pictures as the Scout and OK Mike boxes, but the characters were different in almost identical diorama sets on the box. As Mike pointed out to me, “So the figure was sold as Action-Man by Dickie. Comes with three sets of accessories. These sets as you can see are definitely Steve Scout or O.K. Mike accessories. But very cool.”
